How We Grade
We grade effort, attitude, and standard — not perfection. Each technique is scored 1–5 on Memory, Power, Speed, and Stances. A student passes by showing they have trained and are ready to carry the next belt’s standard.
How to Be Ready
- Arrive early, uniform clean, belt tied.
- Bring your belt training card.
- Know your identity statement and be able to say your declaration out loud.
- Run your belt’s curriculum playlist and daily card in the week before.
Testing Dates & Sign-Up
Testing dates are posted under Classes. Sign-ups typically close one week before the test. If you are not sure whether your student is ready, ask your instructor — readiness, not a date, decides when you test.
